"GO TAKE THE WATER" (audio) is Loose Bruce Kerr's newest original recording, about his hometown, Waukesha, Wisconsin and its roots as being a world-renowned health resort town in the late 1800's-early 1900's. Its mineral-rich groundwater was held out to be a miracle and life-changing for "whatever ails ya." Hundreds of trains rolled in daily, huge grand hotels were erected for health-seeking guests. The town prospered on their thirst for the healing water. It was called "The Great Waukesha Springs Era."

Bruce's great-grandfather, James M. Kerr managed one of the town's springs, Hygeia Mineral Spring, starting in 1894.

Loose Bruce inserted a 20-year performing and recording career into his 2 periods as an attorney. He's retired now from his latest 23-year term practicing law, most recently at Oracle. Before that, he was Assistant General Counsel at Sun Microsystems before Oracle acquired it. He continues to record his songs and videos in his garage studio. He sings and plays each part or instrument one at a time, then mixes it down to create the full recording.

Back in the day, he opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic. He's an irregular feature of the Dr. Demento Show on the internet (150 songplays since 1987).
